Girls night strikes out in Vegas

This is a very sad story . . . Once upon a time there were two Utah girls in Vegas whose charming husbands granted then one evening of fun. The girls primped and dressed their best and went out for an evening full of thunder, the THUNDER from DOWN UNDER that is. The girls rushed to the castle, the valet was patiently waiting for their arrival and they wisked off to the ticket stand. To their dismay all of the ticket stands were closed and the show they had wished and hoped for was over, just a warning for all of you princesses out there, during the week there is not a late night showing :( So back to the hotel they went. They turned a few cowboy hats as they re-entered their hotel, from the horsebreeding convention going on, and they enjoyed a "virgin" strawberry daquiri at the bar. The band drew an embarassing amount of attention on them when they wouldn't let them leave and then they retired to bed without THUNDER, but with a few laughs....

So there it is, that's our story. When we were at the Thunder's theatre a few of the Thunder boys were still were signing pictures from an earlier show. The girls were swarming around them and only slightly dressed, we felt Amish really in their presence. Although missing the show was a dissappointment, we still had fun time!

The conference has kept us occupied day and night, we've had an incredible time from parties in the Vodoo room on the roof of the Rio to dinner at Benihanah's at the Hilton and the amazing booths at the conference. It was a success and fun to be a part of. We miss the boys and are excited to see them tomorrow. Everyday I've talked to Jake he has asked me if I've been at the pool and I've said "no, I'm working". This morning he changed and asked "mommy are you working?" and I said, no today I get to go to the pool! He was so excited.
