Ready...Set....Action

Josh had his moment of fame and he folded--absolutely blew it. The boys got to be extras in a local commercial shoot for the Dinosaur Museum. I don't know if they will actually make the "cut", but it was an entertaining experience. Jake was thrilled about the idea and took it very seriously, his acting was a little over the top. They wanted Josh to point to the T-Rex while being held by another extra and he wouldn't even look up, except to look at the camera which apparently broke rule #1 "don't look at the camera".

We found out filming a commercial is no easy task, especially when little kids are involved. There was a lot of setting up and "wow, that was great, let's do it again--only better" from the director. Watch for their big debue, coming soon!

Angela & Amber it was great to visit with you, thank you for the fun opportunity!

That sounded like fun, but I was feeling too selfish to take my kids out past their bedtime! I'm sure Cooper would have been like Josh, only ten times worse...a total nightmare!!!

Stars in our midst.... :) Someday, when your boys both make it big, they will credit their extraordinary acting skills to the Dinosaur Museum Commercial. : )

I had a lot of fun too even though it meant putting our boys to bed at 11:00. I sure made movie-making a lot less glamorous in my eyes and a little more boring realizing all the sitting around it takes. It was fun to chat :)

How awesome! I'll have to pay more attention to commercials now instead of just fast-forwarding through them (I love DVRs).

I hope they made buckets of money so that their college will be paid for...or maybe you'll be able to put gas in the car this week. :-)

Sounds like we have an aspiring star in the fam. That is the cutest story, I love that he took it so seriously.
