The longest day of the week

Sundays are a struggle with early church and trying the keep the day holy and all that crap . . . . okay, so it's been a long day :) Our Sunday's feel like an entire week in one day! It starts with a rush out the door (late of course), wrestling through sacrament meeting with the boys (without losing it), an outing somewhere, a nap (yeah right), explaining repeatedly to the boys why Sunday is different (no friends, computer, DS games, bikes, etc.) and then trying to keep them busy for the remainder of the day.

We did have some shining moments, we had a picnic up the canyon which occupied the space of about 2 hours. One thing I've learned with boys is they need one good physical activity a day or they may torture each other to the point of serious injury or a mommy melt down.

At the end of the day, when they are sleeping and I have time to breathe, I look back and realize it was a great day after all. I enjoy every moment with them and love the little people they've become.

My sentiments EXACTLY! I always wish--at the end of the day--that I'd felt like that at the time, in the moment, and enjoyed it like I should've.

But dangit! They can really push my buttons! Good to know someone else has a "mommy meltdown," too.

You look REALLY CUTE. No fair that you get to be a cute pregnant girl while I have to look like a puffy jellybean. Hope you're feeling well...

We have the same dilemmas with Sundays in our house. Like you, we took a really long nature walk last night and it seemed to make all the difference. Maybe next weekend we'll head up the canyon.

It's refreshing to hear that someone else has the same Sabbath issues as me. Thanks!

How are you feeling? Try to take it easy. I would start my maternity leave now when comes to the church thing.
